- By outsourcing your design work to a virtual assistant, from designing logos & websites to creating marketing materials & social media posts, graphic design plays a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal & credibility of a business.
4. Why do colors and fonts matter in marketing?
- If you think about color, in particular, it has the power to evoke particular emotions & feelings within audiences, &, as such, can influence the user experience on any marketing campaign. Fonts matter too because they can also impact the user experience, as a visual “tone” of communication. When choosing both colors & fonts, our first inclination is always to suggest “less is more.” Meaning, the fewer colors, the more impactful you can be in terms of using color on a page, drawing the eye to the right elements. Similarly, using fewer fonts, you’ll help project a more consistent brand. Too often we see companies that break this rule & the result is a kind of visual chaos & inconsistency. After all, the font & color in a marketing context has to evoke the brand & do it consistently. If it doesn’t do that, you’re diluting the brand value.
